Adams Nursery
Can Help You Grow Delicious Vegetables!
Our Plants Are Proven to Perform
"We try most of our homegrown vegetable varieties in our garden to make sure they perform well in the soil around Northeast AR." explains Neal "Our customers are helpful too. They let us know from season to season what works and what doesn't. That way we can all be successful with our vegetable gardens."
Which Vegetables Should You Plant In Your Garden?
Don't worry; our knowledgeable staff can help you select the right vegetables for your space.
We grow a wide selection of vegetables in our greenhouses and offer a large selection of bulk vegetable seeds.
Homegrown Vegetable Plants
As an avid gardener, Neal knows the key to a successful garden is using quality plants and the right varieties for your climate. So, every spring and fall, we start vegetable plants from seed in our greenhouses to give you a homegrown advantage. Our vegetable varieties are tested in our garden and acclimated to our climate. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned expert, we love to share our gardening knowledge to help you have a bumper crop
Bulk Garden Seed
Are you looking for an economical way to control food costs by growing vegetables? Seeds are a great way to minimize the costs of planting a large garden. Enthusiastic gardeners also find starting a garden from seeds very rewarding. At Adams Nursery, you can find tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, squash, cucumbers, lettuce, and many other seeds in bulk.
Tomato Types
When looking for the right tomato for your garden, you can start with the type of tomatoes available. Each type addresses specific tomato attributes such as use, taste, growing pattern, cultivation, and color. We categorize our tomatoes based on each of the eight types: Heirloom, Hybrid, Cherry& Salad , Roma, Indeterminate, Determinate, and Open-pollinated. Tomatoes can belong to more than one type.
Pepper Types
Hot, sweet, or somewhere in between—that is the life of a pepper. The wide flavor range of the pepper family makes this vegetable a must for any garden. Growing peppers has many benefits. Peppers provide a low-calorie food high in vitamins A and C, potassium, folic acid, and fiber. Since they can be grown in a garden plot or a container, they can help lower food costs while enhancing the flavor of several dishes. Just make sure not to plant the hot peppers next to the sweet peppers.
Other Vegetables We Grow
Spring Vegetables
In Northeast Arkansas & Southeast Missosuri, gardeners enjoy planting various early spring vegetables. These vegetables are planted so they can be harvested before the summer temperatures get too hot. Summer isn't complete if you can't slice a cucumber for your salad or make homemade pickles. Who can resist fried yellow squash or sauteed zucchini at dinner time. Of course, there is no better way to cool off on a hot summer night with a slice of melon.
